Privacy Policy
Effective date: April 15, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how AIVANU collects, uses, stores, and protects personal data across student, institute, and administrator workflows on our learning and evaluation platform.
1. Scope and user roles
AIVANU is used by students, educational institutes, and authorized platform administrators. Data is processed in the context of onboarding, learning progress, coding practice, interview readiness, project review, resume analysis, support operations, and leaderboard participation.
2. Information we collect
- Account details (name, email, role, institute affiliation, profile photo).
- Academic profile details (grade, year, enrollment number, institute metadata).
- Learning and performance data (streak activity, coding attempts, interview responses, scores).
- Content uploads (project files, resume files, attachments in support tickets).
- Operational logs (login events, error traces, abuse-prevention and security records).
3. How we use information
- To deliver student-facing features and personalized dashboards.
- To calculate scores, streak rewards, rankings, and eligibility outcomes.
- To support project review, interview workflows, and institute reporting.
- To provide support responses, platform notices, and account-security communication.
- To monitor reliability, detect fraud, and improve product quality and safety.
4. Legal basis and consent
We process data for contractual service delivery, legitimate educational and operational interests, and legal compliance. Where specific consent is required (for example, optional profile content), we request it directly in product workflows.
5. Data sharing and access control
We do not sell personal data. Information is shared only with authorized institute personnel, verified administrators, and infrastructure vendors needed to run the service (hosting, storage, authentication, and monitoring). Access is role-scoped and audited.
6. Retention
We retain data only as long as required for educational reporting, learner history continuity, support resolution, security obligations, and legal compliance. Retention windows may vary by record type and institutional agreements.
7. Security safeguards
AIVANU uses authenticated access controls, role-based data policies, secure transport, and service hardening to reduce unauthorized access risk. No system can guarantee absolute security; however, we continuously monitor and improve our controls.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law and institutional contracts, users may request access, correction, deletion, export, or restriction of personal data. Identity verification and legal limitations may apply before a request can be completed.
9. Children and student data
Where student access is provisioned through institutes, institution-level authorization and applicable educational data rules govern account creation and management. Guardians or institutional contacts may coordinate requests through official channels where required.
